December 1993	Established as ML Leasing Corporation. Ownership: 100% Marubeni Corporation
February 1994	Name changed to Marubeni General Leasing Corporation.
March 2003	Capital participation with Sumitomo Leasing Corporation (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company, Limited). Ownership: Sumitomo Leasing Corporation (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company, Limited.): 75%, Marubeni Corporation: 25%
June 2003	Name changed to MG Leasing Corporation. Head office moved to Hitotsubashi, Chiyoda-ku.
January 2008	Increased investment by Marubeni, changing ownership shares. Ownership: Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Company, Limited.: 55%, Marubeni Corporation: 45%
June 2013	Joint venture established in Mongolia.
March 2019	Capital participation with IBJ Leasing Co., Ltd. (currently Mizuho Leasing Company, Limited.) Ownership: IBJ Leasing Co., Ltd. (currently Mizuho Leasing Company, Limited.): 50% Marubeni Corporation: 50%
April 2020	Established a subsidiary in the United States.
May 2020	Name changed to Mizuho Marubeni Leasing Corporation. Head office moved to its current location.
